| What do we mean by Covenantal?
The children of Christian parents are "holy to the Lord" (1 Corinthians 7:14-15). The promises to those who believe the Gospel and are members of the covenant community of believers apply to their children as well (Acts 2:38-39). This has always been the understanding of God's people (Deuteronomy 6:1ff). The local church congregation has the responsibility to see that the covenant children receive a God-centered education (Psalm 78:1ff). The God-centered school is one way the local congregation works with believing parents in the awesome task of teaching the biblical world-and-life view to their children.

Today's covenant children are the future of the church |
Cornerstone Christian Academy continually seeks to assist parents and the local church in their efforts to bring up their children, God's covenant children, "in the nurture and admonition of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4). Because of its emphasis on the nature of God's covenant with Christian families and the body of Christ, our covenant community, Cornerstone Christian Academy, exists to support, but not to replace, the role of parents as educators of the children. Therefore, CCA requires the regular involvement of parents in the programs of the academy. Parents must agree to support and comply with the requirements of the Family Commitment Form, which lists the nature and extent of expected parental participation.
